I may not have much time for recipe creating and blogging these days, but one thing I make time for is taking lots of pictures of my growing children. It’s something I can do with them (and when they’re young they think it’s fun), it captures memories that I know I’ll love to show them someday, and it scratches my creative itch.
So this post is for those of you who like looking at babies. If that’s not your thing, I have plenty to occupy you over in my Recipe Index. 😉

These pictures start at one month and end at the two month mark:
I was going to use the same outfit to take these one month pictures that Noah wore on his first Sunday at church when he was 1 1/2 weeks old, but the shirt wouldn’t fit….
Thankfully I had a similar one in the 0-3 months size!
Some friends of mine sent the most adorable wooden Noah’s Ark toy for Hadassah and Noah to play with. I decided to include the animals in some of his monthly growth pictures.
I never thought I’d be the mom to embrace all the clichés around my child’s name, but apparently I am indeed that mom. (Reference Noah’s newborn pictures in his adorable sleeper covered with zoo animals.)
Just starting to get some smiles…
I got that picture by bribing with Smarties to get the pacifier out of her mouth.
As soon as she was cooperating, Noah had had enough. But they’re adorable anyway.
Noah has loved tummy time almost from the beginning of his young life. We couldn’t believe how early he was holding his head up! Pretty good for a month and a half:
I would love to know what babies dream about when they twitch and blink their eyes and grin in their sleep:
This is one of my absolute favorite pictures I’ve ever taken. Yes, he’s sleeping!

Beautiful children. I like to think when they dream it is of the heaven they came from so recently and all the love that is there.

So sweet, Brianna! You are focusing on the most important thing right now- your precious children! (And yes, I have often wondered the same thing about their little smirks and smiles as they sleep!)

Your children are beautiful. Miss your posts and recipes! Still use your cookbooks tho. Have not done many recipes here lately as my husband is very ill; and, I have gained too much weigh by not following you!!!

I’m sorry to hear about your husband, Pat! When you feel like cooking, I think I probably have enough recipes on my website and in my cookbooks to keep you going for awhile. 😛
