My grandpa always puts Christmas villages up throughout his house for the holidays. From little up, I’ve loved looking at these miniature displays; and as a child I started collecting bits and pieces of my own at thrift stores and flea markets. Now that I’m older, I’ve culled through my collection, bought some new houses and shops, and been given some nice pieces by my grandparents. Here’s a pictorial snapshot of life inside my village. As you can see, there’s a medley of cultures and time periods (two proper British gents chatting by a lamp-post outside of Walmart?).
